| William Smith Fund Latest |
We held our fourth Giving Day on 18-19 March, and it was a fantastic couple of days! This special event brought the whole PGS community together to raise much-needed funds for our bursary programme, and other activities in the school.
This year was more special as it also marked the 10th anniversary of The William Smith Fund - a perfect moment to celebrate the fund’s incredible impact and recognise the generosity that has supported so many pupils over the past decade.
There was plenty of activity across the whole school; from bake sales and penalty shootouts, to e-sports and obstacle courses, and not forgetting the overwhelming pupil favourite - sponge the teacher! We’ve been absolutely blown away by the generosity of our community this Giving Day. Donations came in from around the world, and we raised over £275,000 for The William Smith Fund!
We’re deeply grateful to everyone who donated, participated, or helped spread the word. Thank you for making a difference to the lives of our pupils.
