We have been announced as Finalists in the Giving Something Back category of Muddy Stilletos' inaugural Best Schools Awards.
This accolade recognises our pupils' voluntary work during our first Giving Day in March 2021, which had the theme #BeTheDifference.
During the final days of the spring 2021 COVID lockdown, we challenged pupils across the Senior School to spend three hours making a difference for someone else in their home or community as part of our Giving Day celebrations. Pupils exceeded all our expectations with their thoughtfulness and creativity, and their efforts are now being recognised in these new awards.
Being named as finalists in this award highlights how our pupils live the values and ethos of The Portsmouth Grammar School beyond the classroom and into everyday life, the value that is is created in our community and how we seek to benefit those in need in our area.
The award winner will be announded in June.
