OP updates |
The first PGS Golf Day in over a decade was not for the faint-hearted. OPs, current and former staff and friends of the school were battered by strong winds and rain as they hit the greens at Southwick Park Golf Course over half term. Despite the weather, the six teams fought an incredibly tight contest, finishing the day with less than a point between the top two teams. Spirits were high as everyone warmed up over fish and chips in the clubhouse and the prizes were presented. John Bartle (OP 1957) took away the prize for Nearest the Pin on hole 15.
Planning for next year's event is underway already with a provisional date of Thursday 28th May. Pop it in your diary and watch this space!
