Congratulations to David Hart (OP 1955) who sang for guests arriving for a dinner to celebrate the testimonial year of former Welsh rugby player, Jamie Roberts, at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff last Friday, 4th November 2022.

David has been a member of Cardiff Arms Park Male Choir for the last 36 years and credits this with his incredibly sharp mind, as all the songs must be learned by heart, in English, Welsh, Maori, Italian, French and Afrikaans.

He recalls a the legendary Head of Music at PGS (1945-59), John Davison, saying that when he and his fellow pupils left school, they would have probably forgotten most of the subjects in their curriculum within ten years but would retain the appreciation of music and art for all time.

How true that turned out to be!
