Mrs Jennings, Junior School Teaching Assistant RIP

18 Nov 2022
Obituaries

This week we were extremely sad to receive the news that Mrs Jennings, a much-loved Teaching Assistant in the Junior School, had passed away following a long illness.

Mrs Jennings brought laughter, compassion, love and joy into the Year 1 and Year 2 classrooms during her twelve years in the Junior School and will be very much missed by her colleagues and our pupils. With children sitting on her feet in the Quad at playtimes and calling her ‘Mummy Penguin’, Mrs Jennings was always happy to laugh at herself, even when she took the honour of being the only member of the PGS staff to have fallen, fully-clothed, into the Junior School swimming pool! Her joy at working with the Junior School children and the happiness that they gave her, alongside an infectious laugh will be remembered and missed most keenly.

Our thoughts and love are very much with her family at this difficult time.
