OPs who are current and former students at the University of Oxford are warmly invited to an exclusive dinner hosted by PGS Head, Mr David Wickes, in the McKenna room at Christ Church.
Arrival is from 19:00 where guests will be treated to a talk by Dr Martin Grossel, Former Lecturer in Organic Chemistry and Emeritus Student at Christ Church, Emeritus Fellow in Organic Chemistry within Chemistry at the University of Southampton, and former Governor of The Portsmouth Grammar School. The talk will focus on the history of Christ Church in celebration of the 500th anniversary of the foundation of Cardinal College by Thomas Wolsey, later re-established as 'Christ Church' by King Henry VIII.
The talk will be followed by a three-course meal, wine, and coffee.
Guests are welcome.
